Additional Information

PADI-DSAT TEC Trimix Diver

The PADI Tec Trimix course is intended for technical divers certified as DSAT Tec 65 Divers (or qualifying certification from another training organization). The course extends their depth range capabilities by training them in the use of trimix (helium, oxygen and nitrogen).

Price (4-5 days)

$2,000

Includes: DSAT Tec Trimix Diver Adventure Pac (manual, slates etc.),
Use of decompression software, double and deco tanks, back plate, harness, technical BCD, regulators, all air and enriched air fills and boat rides.

If the diver doesn’t have their own personal gear (wetsuit, mask, fins etc.) normal equipment rental charges apply.

The diver will be trained to dive to a maximum of 100 meters/330 feet using various trimix blends, enriched air and oxygen, using open circuit technical diving equipment and procedures required to manage the risks involved.
Training includes development in the cognitive and motor skills for technical trimix diving, as well as preparation and response for reasonably foreseeable emergencies that may occur in this type of technical diving.
The course also includes advanced skills like handling of multiple stages and deco tanks in limited open water and on actual deep trimix dives.

The training provides skills applicable to further training and experience in technical diving.
The course consists of four Knowledge Development Sessions, five Practical Applications and four Training Dives.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age of 18 years old,
• DSAT Tec 65 certification or equivalent
• Rescue Diver (including proof of training in CPR and first aid within previous two years).
• A minimum of 150 logged dives.
